Hi All! Just wanted to let you know I am doing FREE sessions for Military families through Christmas. If you know someone out there that has a spouse that is deployed and wants photos of theirself with their kids or just pics of the kids I want to shoot them! Not only will I be doing the session free but I'll also be making a show of the images (if they want me to ) to share with them overseas. Holidays are an even tougher time four our service Men and Women and I would love to give them amazing art of their family to make their holiday a little brighter. Spread the word and tell them to call me asap, I'll take good care of them, but then again you already knew that right!

Thanks Friends!

Erika and Anthony!

Erika and Anthony were one of the most unique E-Sessions I ever had. You might remeber they live in DC so Erika called F&S Harley Davidson to see if we could borrow one from their shop for some pics, they olbiged and were so accomodating for us that I almost traded in My Subaru for a new Sportster! While their wedding had a tad less chrome than the E-Session it was just perfect. We started at Erikas family home where she and her sisters grew up, He father showed me around and I could see they were a close and loving family with all the photos from the other Daughters weddings and all the family prtraits that decorated their home. One of my favortie moments of the day was capturing the smile on Dad's face as Erika walked down the steps. I could see him thinking about all the time she walked down the stairs for the first day of school, and the high school prom. I'm sure He had a lot on his mind, but he was grining ear to ear! It was such a beautiful day to spend with such great families. Thanks Erika and Anthony, your wedding was a blast! Click here to view the show full size. Click here to view all the photos.

Jessica and Josh got married back in September and what a fun wedding it was! They are such a great couple and they love to have a good time! We got to shoot with them at some of our favorite places in Dayton! They had such a fun wedding party and the cutest little boy, Blake! There was a lot of love in the room when they were getting married and everyone was just so nice to work with. Jessica's dress was absolutely beautiful and she was such a fun bride to be around! We hope everyone had as much fun as we did spending the day with them. Enjoy the photos!

Laura and Nathan E-Session!

What an awesome e-session this was. The locations we shot at were totally amazing but Laura and Nathan were even more amazing than those places! We had so much fun shooting around Devou park over in Covington, KY. This park had the most incredible view of the city of Cincinnati's skyline. So we did lots of photos with that in the background and then we went down to the water line and did some more photos with the big buildings and the river. It was great. Spending this time with Laura and Nathan just got me really pumped up for their wedding in June! And for next years wedding season over all. I know their wedding is going to just be so beautiful. I can't wait. We'll see ya all back here in June!

Congrats Tatum and Lee!

Tatum and Lee are another great couple from October. Their wedding was great! We had so much fun photographing their beautiful day. The church inside was really unique and there was some cool places outside it to shoot as well. After the ceremony we ventured over to Englewood Dam, which of course was gorgeous. When we got there, there was a big bulldozer at the park and the bridal party wanted to take a photo with it! So we did! It was pretty cool and the girls were the ones who immediately started climbing up the side of it. I have to say it was the first time I've photographed a bulldozer at a wedding. It was lots of fun! Thanks Tatum and Lee's bridal party for being up for anything!! LOL You guys rock. And thanks to Tatum and Lee for having me and Marci as part of your special day! You two are awesome! Genny and Randy are married!

Genny and Randy got married this month and it was a beautiful ceremony. The weather was a little less perfect but it didn't stop us from having a great day and taking some awesome photos of their gorgeous wedding! We went into downtown Bellbrook to Bellbrock Park to take some of the photos in spite of the rain and we were able to take advantage of the matching umbrellas Genny bought for her girls. After the ceremony we partied the night away and everyone had a fantastic time! Just look at the photos to see what I mean! Congrats to Genny and Randy and to their awesome little guy Maverick!! Jennifer and Adam's E-Session!

I met Jennifer and Adam at my favorite spot last week for their E-Session and we had a perfect day for it! It's been kinda cold this week, why can't we get last weeks weather for the rest of the month! I was glad to hear Red was one of their wedding colors cause I hadn't been over to my red wall in a few months so we hit that and even stopped at the church, why not it was just a hop away! Thanks Jennifer and Adam, looking forward to the wedding! -Nick

Deirdre and Dan's E-Session!

Deirdre and Dan had me out to Wegerzyn (did I spell that right?) Gardens last week for a fun little E-Session that I had been looking forward to for a while. I met Deirdre and Dan at a show after talking with them over the phone and from the moment we met I knew she and Dan would be one of my favorite couples for next year. They are always laughing together and up for anything! Thanks Guys! Can't wait for May! -Nick

Jacquelyn and Justin's E-Session!

This E-Session was a BLAST! I got to do one of the best drives you could pick for fall, 35 and 50 through southern Ohio to meet up Jackie and Justin at Ohio University. I've got lots of great memories there, most noteably my Sister's graduation a few years back. But that was the last time I was there to shoot and when I met Jackie at Ali and Jeff's wedding I got really excited when she mentioned going to OU for their engagement session. This was certainly one of the best E-Sessions I've ever done, and I know Jackie and Justin loved every minute of it too. Jackie spent most of the day smiling as she told me and Justin what She and Ali and the rest of the gals did when they weren't hitting the books! Justin, well he spent the whole time smiling as well. I could tell he enjoyed hearing Jackie talking about her days there. I could tell they both really enjoyed being there together and they had a great time shooting with me, I mean when you stop at the CI for a beer in the middle of the session, you know you're having a good time! Can't wait for the wedding Jackie and Justin! It'll be a little colder but I'm sure we'll be able to stop for another beer! -Nick

Philip Shanks Senior Portrait Art Session!

Philip wanted to do his senior session in downtown Dayton! I was so excited to shoot a senior downtown because I rarely get to leave the studio area. Philip was great to work with and he had some of the same places in mind that I had to shoot with! We had a great time and I got some really great photos! Thanks Philip for wanting something different!
Enjoy the photos!

The Katz Family!

It's so rare I get to see all the family I work with at a wedding again, even more rare I get to work with such a great family twice at the same location! I shot Wendy and Matt's wedding last year and it sounds like they're doing great, I loved working with them cause we got so much time with them, plus they were a riot! Well Melissa, Wendy's sister called me and set up a family session that just so happened to be at Cox where their wedding was. It was certainly a case of deja' vu, and it was even more fun shooting with them again! Thanks guys, It was so nice to see you again! Click here to view the show full size. -Nick

Kristi and Justin's E-Session

We shot Kristi's sister's wedding in May of '08 and I was so happy to hear from her when she got engaged early last year! I met Justin and Her up in Troy where they live for some shots downtown and since they met at UD we finished up there. We even got to do some in front of the houses they lived in when the actually met. Though the paint was a little different it didn't stop us from getting some great stuff! Thanks Guys, it was a blast! Click here to view the show full size. -Nick

Vicki and Steve in New Lebanon!

Vicki and Steve got married in New Lebanon at her parents house! The wedding was behind the house on a really pretty piece of property they own and it made for a perfect spot for the wedding! We had a great time with the couple and despite the weather not being the greatest, the day was still awesome! We got to go to a couple of our favorite spots to shoot on the way to their reception and we had so much fun at the reception! The people at the wedding and the bridal party were so much fun to talk to! Enjoy the photos!
Vicki and Steve, thank you so much for having us come shoot your wedding! It was so great shooting somewhere we had never been before and your wedding was beautiful! You two are such nice people and such a great couple! We hope you enjoy the photos!
