Well I thought it was just going to be a nasty day out with the rain we had a few hours prior to shooting with Brittany and David and I was really looking forward to shooting with them. Lucky for us the heavens opened up and gave us some gorgeous lighting and a very colorful sky. It turned out to be one of the best E-Sessions I've had in a long time! So this is the 3rd year in a row I think that we've shot Chistmas pictures for Amanda and Brandon and thier daughter Savanah. What a great annual tradition! Savanah is growing up quick and she's become quite the little chatter box since I first met her when she was about 3 yrs old. She was pretty shy and didn't want anything to do with me and my camera, oh how kids change!

Super awesome day for an amazing couple! I've just loved every minute of working with Julie and Grant. I met Julie through a past bride of mine, as I do most of my couples, several years ago. She said she knew I was shooting her wedding and she hadn't even met her man yet! So Oxford in the fall is just about the best place to be if you want beautiful leaves, how lucky were we to get to shoot there with them. They really wanted to spend a lot of time together and with the wedding party doing photos and we were very happy to give it to them! I think we spent about 4 hours running around town shooting with them - how cool is that! Best of all everyone was super fun to work with so the images just shot themselves! This one is my favorite wedding party photo of the year! So all I can say about Lauren and Ronny can be summed up into one sentence: They are honestly Two of the nicest people you could ever meet. It really makes me smile to see such wonderful people finding love in each other. Best of all they gave me like 3 hours to shoot them after the wedding it was an awesome day to shoot and we took full advantage of every minute. We must have hit 10 different spots, in fact we even got to shoot at two new places since we had the time and those two spots gave me some of the best shots of the two of them. This was my favorite one of Katie! What an awesome couple, I knew from the moment Katie and I first talked on the phone about her wedding what a great time I was going to have with them! Plus we had a hilarious wedding party, and they let me do it all with them so for me it really doesn't get any better! One weird coincedence is Katie and I have the same last name, were not related, but her family took us into their home and took great care of us all day long and really made Marci and I feel like we were just one of the family. Jennifer and Mark got married at the Savannah Center in West Chester last month. It was a great day of shooting with the two of them and their wedding party! It was so nice having such a small group to shoot with, we really got to talk to all of them and got to know them really well. Christa and Ryan are good friends of my wife and I. Christa grew up with my wife and they have stayed best friends over all these years. I was so excited when they got engaged and even more excited when they told me they wanted me to shoot their wedding! I knew it was going to be such a fun day with the two of them. They saw each other for the first time right out in their backyard. The shots of them sitting in their backyard are my absolute favorites from the day. After we drove around Lebanon shooting for a while, we met the wedding party and shot some more! Their ceremony was great, you could see the excitement on both of their faces the whole time. Their reception was a blast and everyone enjoyed the PhotoGuestbook! Their wedding day couldn't have been more perfect, thanks to everyone who helped make everything so great for them!

Heather and Todd at the Crystal Room!

What an awesome wedding! Heather and Todd got engaged at the Eiffel tower, no not the one at Kings Island, the one in Paris! Thanks Todd for making all us guys look bad when it comes to our proposal stories. :) It was a great theme to bring into the wedding, so we actually ran with it when we did their Save the Dates, and even the cake was topped with an Eiffel tower. This was a special wedding for me, great friends of mine ( and past 808 Couple) Elisha and Dusty were the ones who reccommended me and they were also in the wedding. It was awesome to see them again and meet their son, who's also my friend now! I really make me happy to see Heather and Todd together, they are both just the nicest people you could ever meet and that sure was evident when you met their wedding party each one of them were just like Heather and Todd, we loved every minute of working with them. This one was a favortie of mine, Heather and Todd really are as cool as they look here!

Brittany and Andrew in the rain and shine and then more rain...

Brittany and Andrew got married at Polen Farm in September. The day was kind of rainy and dull, but the wedding party was the exact opposite, so we went and shot outside anyway! The rain cleared up for a little bit and they were able to have the wedding outside under the gazebo at Polen. The day was so much fun and Brittany's dress was perfect for our new vintage look! The reception was a blast and everyone was really into the PhotoGuestbook! One of the bridesmaids even sang a Tina Turner song and nearly blew the roof off the barn with her voice! It was a fun group to work with and we hope they all had as much fun as we did! We had a blast shooting with everyone even with the rain and hope you all enjoy the photos!

Wow, what a great day, perfect weather perfect couple! Denise and Ady got married at Polen Farm in Dayton. Which is funny since they live in Wilmington, and met in the UK where Ady is from and his family traveled from to be at the wedding. That's lots of miles for such a small wedding! They allowed us to shoot everything prior to the ceremony so we hit a bunch of really cool spots. Since it was just them, we were able to hit each place and have plenty of time to do it all. My favorite shots were the red brick ones. I got them to do individuals while the other was off to the side making silly faces, they are such a great couple and it's great to see them have fun together. Thanks Denise and Ady! Hannah and Ben at French Park!

Hannah and Ben got married at French Park in August. Hannah is the sister of Mandie, a bride we had a few years ago. It was so great to see them again, especially since they have 4 adorable kids now! It was so great to catch up with them and work with such great people again! The day was perfect for the two of them! We had great weather, great people, and a great couple to work with! We did pictures inside the huge house at the park, and then got to shoot at a few places around the park too. Hannah and Ben both looked so great and they were both super excited to be married to each other! Some of our favorite pictures were at sunset in a open grassy area out beside the reception tent. The lighting was great and we had them just sit and enjoy each others company in the grass, and it made for some great shots! Then we shot some awesome photos on some antique furniture that Hannah's mom brought out for us to use. It was so cool shooting on our own personal living room out in a grassy field! They were some of our favorite pics from the day. Their reception was so much fun, and it all ended with a huge lantern release! It was one of the coolest things we have seen at a wedding in a long time. Thanks to everyone who helped make their day so special!

We shot Leah and Philip getting engaged just a couple of months ago, and here we are, posting their wedding pics! We were so excited to shoot them again (and excited that Leah knew we were going to be shooting this time!) They got married at a really awesome house that a friend owns outside of Dayton. It was the perfect place for their wedding with close friends and family. We had a blast shooting with them all day and talking about how fun it was shooting them getting engaged at the airport. Their wedding was at sunset and it was so pretty, with the trees all around and lights in the background! They even did a lantern release at the end of the night and it was a great way to end such a fun day and to see off all of their guests. We had so much fun with the two of them and know that their great personalities really show in the pictures.
Leah and Philip, thank you for letting us come out to shoot your gorgeous wedding. You guys were so much fun and we hope you enjoy living in Seattle together! Thanks to Philip for having us out to shoot the engagement, it was one of our favorite things we have shot in a long time!

Danielle and Brandon are so cute together, as evidenced in their photos, they are just adorable. Marci and I had such a great time shooting their wedding. It was at the beautiful Carillon Park in Dayton and even with the rain, they were able to have it on the bridge. It was awesome. The rain, of course, added so fun umbrella shots to day and created some great memories for everyone there. Sarah and Matt got married at her parents house in a really pretty little area they put together. It was a great spot for an outdoor wedding! We got to shoot at some really awesome places in downtown Wilmington, which made for some fun and unique photos. We had fun with the two of them and their small wedding party! It was really great to have such a small group to work with because we got to talk to everyone and got to know them really well. After the wedding, we did pictures with an amazing '59 Corvette that a friend of the family brought. Matt even got to take his new wife on a little joy ride in it! We had a blast shooting everything all day and then got a surprise at the end of the night when they had a fireworks display! It made for a great end to the night and some really great photos too. Thanks to everyone for making their wedding so great!

Vickey and Paul

Vickey and Paul got married at the beginning of August on a pretty hot day! We met the guys and Paul down in Cincinnati at Paul's new boat! It was really cool doing pictures of the guys on a boat, and we even got to go out on the water ourselves to get a few of them from the front of the boat! Then we headed off to meet up with Vickey and the girls for some pictures. The ceremony was great and you could tell Vickey and Paul had been looking forward to it all day because they looked so excited to be there with each other. After the ceremony we headed to do some pictures with the wedding party, on a tractor! Vickey and Paul got cowboy hats for the whole wedding party which was pretty funny too! Then we headed to the reception and had so much fun with all the guests! The day was great and we hope everyone enjoys the pictures!

What a beautiful wedding! It was a little warm at St Mary's (No AC!!) But that just made us a little more creative with shooting a few in the basement! Katy and Alex got married last month in Dayton and we had so much fun with them! Katy is the sister of another bride of mine from a few years ago so it was really great to see all of the family again and catch up on everything! The reception was a lot of fun and we had a good time watching all of the live performances and working with one of our favorite DJ's, Brian Harris! We got to shoot Ashley and Lee's reception here in Ohio, and now that we got to know them a bit I'm bummed we didn't get to do the wedding! Scott's Batting Practice a GABP!

We met Scott and his group of guys at Great American Ball Park for his Bachelor Party, which was batting practice on the field! They showed up in an Armored Car Stretch limo and we got to take some pictures of them with that, which was really cool! He and his guys took turns slugging pitches and we were there to take pictures it all. It was a lot of fun getting to know the guys before the wedding and just hanging out on the field. We did pictures in the dugout, one the field, and even at the entrance to the clubhouse! It was a fun couple of hours with them and it made us even more excited to shoot the wedding!

Sarah and Scott and Great American Ball Park!

Sarah and Scott got married at one of the coolest places we have ever shot wedding, home plate of the Cincinnati Reds stadium, Great American Ball Park! When we first met them and found out where they were getting married, we knew we wanted to shoot their wedding. They were two of the nicest, most fun people we have had the pleasure of working with, and the families were a blast too! We went all over downtown Cincinnati shooting pictures at some new spots we found. One of our favorite parts of the day was when we pulled over on the side of the road down by the river to get a shot with everyone in front of the city skyline, and two police officers on Harleys showed up. We thought we were going to have to leave, but it turned out they wanted to let us use their bikes for pictures! How cool! Special thanks to those two officers for letting us do that! The reception was so much fun and it was up in champions club in the stadium, with huge windows that looked out to the field! Toward the end of the night, we even got to go out with all the guests, sit in the seats and watch fireworks! It was a really fun day and we would like to thank everyone again for helping us out with our first kiss shot! It turned out really great!

Karen and Andrew

Karen and Andrew are married! It was so exciting because Andrew is my sister-in-law's brother, so basically these two are family. Marci and I had such a great time at their wedding and we were so glad we could be there to document their special day. It was a beautiful wedding and they did a great job planning everything out. One of my favorite memories of the day was when we were at the park, they actually swung on the swings together and it was very cute. It was such a special moment for the two of them. Of course, they had the cutest ring bearers ever, I can't not mention them because they are my nephews. What a great job they did walking down the aisle together; it was so precious. This is quite possibly the coolest thing I was ever able to photograph 12 hours after booking it! I got a call from Philip late afternoon on Wednesday last week, he had been referred by a friend of mine to see if I would be available to shoot him asking is Girlfriend Leah if she would marry him. He was taking a red eye into Dayton and arriving just after 10. His plan was to ask Leah as soon as the saw eachother at the front entrance, it really seemed to me he just couldn't wait another minute without her. My plan was to document what I knew would be one of the best things I'd be a part of during my life as a photographer. I was hiding behind a check-in kiosk and Blake was camped out behind the coffee shop. The lighting was perfect and even the TSA was in on it! It was a little planning and a lot of winging it and I think you'll agree the images are nothing short of AMAZING! Great work Philip! Leah you couldn't have been more perfect being surprised! :) Thanks guys this was beyond awesome!! -Nick

Katie and Andrew's Wedding Adventure!

Katie and Andrew were such a fun couple, full of excitement and love for each other. They had their wedding in the Transportation Center at Carillon Park in Dayton because they are really into traveling together. They were so funny to be around all day and we had so much fun working with them and their super nice family and friends! It was really great to work with a great couple who absolutely adores each other and you could just see that in them by looking at them all day! We took some great stories and jokes away from their wedding and still laugh about some of the funny things everyone said while we were out shooting. We hope you all enjoy the photos!
Katie and Andrew, you are two of the most genuine, kind hearted people I have ever met. Thank you so much for giving us plenty of time with the two of you to do the awesome work that you both deserve. You guys were a blast and we enjoyed every minute of your wedding!

This one was my favortie Infrared image for the day, Allison and Dave picked a great spot to get married. Beavercreek Golf Club has some very beautiful holes that just beg to be photographed! When I met Allison (we met thought a past bride, like the vast majority of my customers) I knew she and Dave were going to be a great couple to work with. She's always got a smile on her face and you just know her and Dave are the life of the party wherever they go. We had a killer time with them and their wedding party, what a funny group! Niki and Kenny

Niki and Kenny got married back in June in Dayton and what a day we had with them! The groomsman were hilarious and wanted to make Niki and Kenny's wedding really..special. It was a great group to work with all day and we have so many stories that we took away from the day. We got to shoot at some of our favorite places downtown before the wedding with the two of them which was great! The reception was a lot of fun with the unpredictable wedding party. They kept us on our toes all day and all night with different ideas they had for fun photos! Thanks to everyone who made the day so great and we hope you all enjoy the photos!

Shannon and Dapo in Atlanta

This one is my favorite of Shannon, just a quick "have a seat right here in the nice light" pic the pose was all her and she looks stunning!

I think this one just summed up the whole day for me, Fitting that it was at the end of the night. I thought this one was just awesome, and I thought the whole weekend was too. I got to go down to Atlanta to shoot my wife's closest friends getting married and it was just what I was looking for. I shot this one on my own so I was prepared to work hard but also challenge myself with my composition and I have to say I loved every minute of it. Shannon and Dapo are so right for each other, and you could really tell that when he lifted his pant leg to reveal his green argyle socks and Shannon let out a big laugh! I had so much fun we even carried it over into the next day when we met them at their hotel and shot a few more that will be just perfect additions to their album. Thanks Shannon and Dapo! Kristi and Justin!

Kristi and Justin got married last month in Springboro and we had a blast with them! Kristi is the sister of one of our favorite couples, Ashley and Levi! It was so great to see all the family again and to work with such nice people for a second time! We had so much fun working with and catching up with everyone! The weather was beautiful (and a little warm!) so we got to do some really cool stuff in the downtown area before the wedding. Then we took the golf carts out to shoot on the course after! They are such a great couple and you can tell by looking at them that they love each other and are going to have a blast in their lives together. Thanks to everyone for making it such a fun day and for making our jobs so easy!

Jessica and Jason's Wedding!

Jessica and Jason's wedding day started out with lots of rain...which is actually good luck for them! It also makes for cool photos. We did fun photos with the umbrellas and it was so adorable. Later in the day the rain cleared up and we were able to travel all over Troy and do lots of fun photos there. It all worked out awesomely cause we had plenty of time to do all the photos we wanted and the newlyweds and the wedding party still had some extra time to hangout on the bus and just enjoy themselves. Jennifer and Adam got Married at one of my favorite churches in Dayton on Memorial Day weekend, Holy Trinity. Good thing it wasn't too hot, Holy Trinity is without AC! They are such a great couple, we hit every awesome spot we could for the E-Session and the wedding was no exception! Jenny was a tad bit anxious right before seeing Adam and it was so cute. But Adam didn't take his time getting to her at the steps of the church so it made for a perfect moment. Well it's about time! I think I had to reschedule Niki and Kenny's E-Session four or five times due to the weather, it was ridiculous! It did turn out to be one of the nicest days of the year so far so it was really worth the wait, plus I got to shoot their dog Chief. I squeezed Laci and Matt's E-Session into just over a half hour! I've been missing shooting E-Sessions cause I keep rescheduling due to the weather so we chanced the inevitable downpour and met up in Lebanon. We got done just as the tornado sirens started to go off, it was all excitement I needed for the week! Thanks Laci and Matt it was a blast!

Deirdre and Dan in Dayton!

Deirdre and Dan got married back on May 21, and we had so much fun with them! They are such nice people and we loved being with them all day! From the moment Deirdre called us to get information, we knew she was going to be an awesome person to work with. Then we got to meet Dan! He was such a great guy for Deirdre and they make a perfect couple. You can just see how happy the two of them are together! It was such a fun day and we loved shooting with them and the wedding party! One of the groomsman was even from Ireland! The reception was a blast and the guestbook was full of great people writing such nice things for Deirdre and Dan! I think our favorite part of the reception was when Deirdre's Dad got her brother on the phone to talk to her. He is currently serving oversees and wasn't able to make it to the wedding. Her dad held a mic up to the phone so everyone could listen in while they talked for a few minutes. It was such a great thing that she got to talk to him on her wedding day, especially at the reception! We hope you all enjoy the photos!
Deirdre and Dan, thank you both so much for letting us come and shoot with you guys all day! We had a blast and hope you both have a great life together!

Haley and Tim's E-Session!

How awesome was this E-Session! Haley and Tim had me shoot a session of them down at Miami university a few years ago. They met and fell in love there, Though at the time they weren't engaged it was one of the most fun sessions I've ever had. I was beyoned stoked when I got an email from Haley asking if I was available to shoot their wedding in Charleston Next year. My response was a HUGE YES! It just made my week to see them once again and get out to shoot with them too. I'm counting the days til Charleston! -Nick

Jennifer and Brad the Firefighters!

Jennifer and Brad got married at the beginning of May and it was an absolute blast! We had so much fun all day with the two of them! They are just super nice, genuine people who love each other and love to have fun. We started our day at the firehouse Jennifer works at. We did some awesome pictures of the two of them with all kinds of trucks, and equipment. Then it was off to Oxford, with a Chic-fil-a pit stop on the way, where Jen did pics with the Chic-fil-a cow! After Oxford we made it to their farm house to meet the wedding party, which was made up of all guys! Firefighters from her department, and from his department! Jen arrived in a old firetruck, lights and sirens going! We did some great stuff after the wedding with the wedding party, Jen and Brad, and the old truck. The reception was so much fun out under a tent in their side yard. It was just the wedding we wanted to help kick off the wedding season!
-Jen and Brad, thank you guys so much for letting us shoot your wedding! We didn't stop talking about how cool it would be to shoot from the moment we met you at the wedding show! You both are so much fun and we really appreciate you giving us so much time with the two of you before the ceremony to shoot!
-To all the firefighters who were at the wedding, and every other firefighter out there, thank you all so much for your dedication to keeping our communities safe. We know that with all this bad weather you have all been busy and working hard, and we want you to know that we sincerely appreciate what you do.

They are such a great couple and we had so much fun with the two of them all day. Well it finally stopped raining long enough for me to at least shoot one E-Session, and I'm so glad it was Katie and Nathans! It was such a gloomy day right up until about an hour before the shoot then the heavens just parted and the sun began to shine and I wasn't working on the studio painting something so at that point it was ALL GOOD! Monique and Josh in Germantown!

Monique and Josh got married in Germantown back in the beginning of April. When we first got into town we couldn't believe how much there was to work with! We knew it was going to be a great day with all the neat stuff and such a great couple! Ali and Ben in Defiance!

Ali and Ben are friends of Laurens that got married the week after she did! It was really cool shooting Laurens wedding then going to shoot a good friend of hers the very next week! We made the drive up to Defiance for their wedding and what a cool place it was to shoot! There were so many different things to work with we had to choose our favorites or else we would have needed a whole weekend to shoot on all of them! Leeanne and Andy got married last month in Beavercreek and had their reception at The Air Force Base! We got to do some fun stuff with them and had so much fun all day! One of our favorite parts of the day was getting to go into the Aero Club on base and taking pics of them inside the giant hangars with different airplanes! Leeanne and Andy are such a fun energetic couple and we had a blast with them and their wedding party! We still laugh about some of the funny things that happened while we were shooting with everyone that day! Another really neat thing that happened was at the reception, where a suprise flash mob for the bride to her favorite song, Don't stop Beleving, was put on by the wedding party and a bunch of the guests! It was one of the most unique things we had seen at a wedding in a while and it was great to see a reception full of so much energy! We hope that everyone had as much fun as we did that day!

Our New Location!!

It's official, even though the boxes are still everywhere! We've expanded into our new location here at 424 Reading rd in Mason. While we will certainly miss our Shroyer studio in Dayton we are looking forward to a less hectic year in 2011. My Wife and I welcomed our new son Alex James into the world just after the move and I have to say he is the biggest reason for the change in location. I want to be the best Dad I can be and I felt that spending 2 hours a day on the road isn't the best way to start out! So now that I'm closer to my family that means so much to me I'm kinda missing my other family - My Customers. But I assure each one of you that I am more here for you than I ever was. Being in this new studio has allowed us to have better turn around times and deliveries than we ever have before. We've become more efficient with our new space and it's really made a difference. I know the changes we've made will make 2011 the best year we've had so far! So come by and see us sometime we'd love to see you and catch up. Oh and feel free to bring a paintbrush cause the studio isn't totally finished just yet! -Nick

Kristen and Josh are my July 30th wedding for this year which is funny becuase we did their engagement session in the middle of a snowy December! I am quite sure it will be warmer at the wedding than it was at the engagement session! It was so fun shooting at some of my favorite places at the Greene then going to Centerville highschool where they actually met each other. They had some insider knowledge on who had the key so we were able to get into the stadium and shoot some pictures on the bleechers, which was something I had never done before!

Katie and Alex's E-Session at Clifton Mill!

I met Katie and Alex a few days after Christmas out at Clifton Mill for some awesome shots with the lights! Although it was a little cold out, it was great to get out in the snow and do some pictures because I haven't done that in a while! We would only get 15 minutes of shooting in between light shows but it was a lot of fun!

This is Jessica and Jason. They are getting married in June. We got together to do some pre e-session photos out at the Greene so we can make them save the dates for their wedding. My couple Laura and Nathan are getting married in June. She called me up before Christmas and asked if we could do some pictures of her and her siblings and their spouses for her parents for a Christmas present. I jumped at the chance to help them achieve this goal. Love this one of Andrea and her father!

Andrea and Jay had a wonderfully intimate wedding the week before Christmas and I have to say it really put me in the Christmas spirit! I was concentrating so much on making sure everything was ready for my son to arrive I didn't even have time to get out my Christmas music. But since it was almost an hour drive for Blake and I to get to Germantown I thought I would dust them off. Andrea was one of the most calm brides I've ever worked with, and Jay was a little nervous, but you could jsut tell it was him wanting to make sure everything was perfect for his lovely bride. It was really nice to have so much time to work with them on an individual level. Most of the weddings we do have large wedding parties and lots of family that need to be photographed, but for Andrea and Jay it was all about them and we wouldn't have had it any other way. I felt like I was shooting old friends I'd known for years. My favorite part of the day was after all the guests had left and the family was cleaning up we snuck over to their new home and got some shots of the sunset and Jay carrying Andrea over the threshold. It was a shot I will never forget, in all my years I've never seen a groom carry his bride over it! Thanks Andrea and Jay it was a blast, you two were such warm and thoughtful people, we hope to get to see you again soon! Meghan and Nic!

Meghan and Nic got married in November on a gorgeous day! They got married at UD and had their reception at Carillon Park in a new area that is almost finished! They were one of the first couples to have a reception in the new room. When I met them I knew it was going to be a blast working with them because I could tell they were very artistic! I was even more excited to work with them on their wedding day. You can just see how much they love each other and how perfect they are together! We had such a great time with all of the guests and thier wedding party! We loved talking with all of the people from different parts of the country and giving the best man a hard time about being from North Carolina when he was in the home of the Wright Brothers! The day was so much fun and we hope you all enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed taking them!
Meghan and Nic, thank you both so much for having us come spend your wedding day with you! You guys are so much fun and we hope you have a wonderful life together!

Amanda and Alex

Amanda and Alex got married back at the end of October. The first time I got to shoot with them was at their engagement session which was so much fun, it lasted almost 3 hours! It was great getting to know them and talking about cars with Alex. We even did pictures with his Mustang Cobra, which he unfortunately doesn't have anymore. The weather was perfect and the leaves had tons of color! We met them at Country Club of the North, where their reception was later that day. They were both so excited about the day and the bridal party was excited as well! They were a fun group to work with and made our job really easy all day! It was such a great ceremony and we could really feel the love from everyone who was there to be a part of the wedding! When we got to CCN we were able to use some of the amazing color in the trees to get some great pictures, it was just like their engagement session! The reception was really fun and we had a blast being outside right next to the dance floor all night with the PhotoGuestbook! It really made for some creative and unique guestbook pictures! We hope everyone enjoys the pictures!
Amanda and Alex, thank you both so much for being such great people to work with! We enjoyed every minute of your wedding day and we had so much fun with the two of you! We wish you nothing but the best as you start your new lives together and hope you enjoy all of your photos!

Melinda and Bo

Melinda and Bo got married in October in Dayton and it was such a great day! The weather was perfect and their bridal party was so much fun! We knew it was going to be a great day when one of Melinda's bridesmaids came up to us and gave us one of the delicious soft pretzels from the pretzel place down the street! We got to shoot in an area we don't get to visit very often so it was really nice having new things to work with! Melinda and Bo are some of the nicest people we have ever worked with and it was so great being able to have a lot of time with them! Not only were the bride and groom great to work with but we got to shoot the cutest and sweetest little flower girl we have ever had, Emma! The day was so much fun and Melinda and Bo did such a great job putting everything together! On our way to the reception at Lake Lyndsey we stopped in some really neat places in Middletown and at beautiful Armco Park! The trees were amazing and we got some really good shots with all the nice fall colors! Lake Lyndsey was the perfect place for their reception and we had so much fun with all the guests. They were so lively and very much into the PhotoGuestbook becuase it was one of the biggest ones we have ever had! Great job to all the guests! Enjoy the photos everyone!

Steph and Scott

Steph and Scott got married back at the beggining of October in Dayton. It was such a fun day with them and their wedding party! We shot the guys downtown and were able to get into the Dayton Dragons stadium to do some really cool stuff! We started taking the girls pictures at Square One Salon in Centerville where Steph works and eventually ended up going downtown to do some pictures with the girls and went to the Square One downtown, so that day we really did go back to Square One! After the ceremony we went downtown when it was dark and did some really neat pictures with the wedding party..out in the middle of Third Street! The reception was at Top of the Market and it was so much fun! We had such a great time with everyone and loved some of the creative PhotoGuestbook ideas! Thank all of you so much and we hope you enjoy the pictures!
Steph and Scott, thank you both so much for having us come be such a big part of your beautiful wedding! You are two of the nicest people we know and loved being able to work with you! Amy and Ryan

Amy and Ryan we married at one of my favorite churches in Dayton, Holy Angels. I love Holy Angels cause some of my all time favorite weddings have been there, Fitting for Amy and Ryan, because they made that list! I usually share my favorite part of the day but this one is a twofer. Amy and Ryan saw each other for the first time outside the church just before the ceremony, it was great for them to shake off their jitters and get the family photos done but for me it was great to be a part of Amy's big reveal with Ryan. They were both anxious to see one another and the moment Ryan got up to Amy all he could do was grin ear-to-ear and giver her a great big hug. It was so adorable to see the them looking into their eyes and see those pre-wedding jitters melt away. I loved when they got to open their gifts, Amy had this really awesome drawing made that had all the little things from their past on it, along with their new place. It was funny to hear some of the stories, the Chinese food, the prom proposal with Mickey. I have never seen a more thoughtful gift in all my years as a wedding photographer, job very well done Amy! So we had a great ceremony and then the rain came. It didn't bother them a bit! We just cracked open the umbrellas and went to all the places we planned on, I was a little more dry on my drive there but I wasn't in the windowless trolley! My other fav of the day was shooting the two of them under the umbrella, while most couples would think twice, a third, and fourth time about shooting in the rain they just grabbed the umbrella and put their trust in me and enjoyed themselves. I really think their work in the rain is the best I've done, heck it was the cover of their PhotoGuestbook! We even all stopped for ice cream, weddings don't get any better! Meredith and Blake are married!

Meredith and I got married back on September 25 and it was such a long day! We gave Lauren all day to do pictures with us and our awesome wedding party! She did an amazing job and took a ton of pictures! We are so excited that they are all done and ready for everyone to see! Amanda and Tony got married in October and it was truly a beautiful wedding! Normandy Church is one of my favorite churches to shoot at because it is so unique. Both inside and outside of the church are awesome and it went so perfectly with the colors and flowers that Amanda and Tony picked out. They did such a great job with planning everything and it all came together just so amazingly. On top of that, the love they share shown brightest of the day and made everything just that much more perfect!
